Georgia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra in the ACT. With 5 years of clinical experience she has assessed and treated many different injuries and conditions. Georgia loves helping people across all ages to reach their goals and reduce their pain. She has worked with all joints in the body through different stages of injury- acute management, chronic pain, pre-operative and post operative. Georgia uses multiple different techniques and she will always offer an individualised exercise program to complement this.
Georgia has a particular interest in working with adolescent populations- she strongly believes this is an important age to build healthy habits and properly manage injuries to ensure good long term outcomes. She continues to professionally develop her skills in this area. Through her work in Canberra she started a “Power to the Girls” initiative which is a program created to educate about training considerations and empower female athletes. She also founded a class called “Move like a Girl” which is a strength program for young girls.
She has played multiple sports at a high level including volleyball and netball as an Australian junior, and now currently AFLW with the Gold Coast Suns. Georgia finds her personal experiences through sport assist with her Physiotherapy skillset. She has worked in high level sports such as Volleyball Australia junior players, Brumbies Super W Rugby Union and professional Triathlete and Iron man/women athletes. She has worked within multiple club level sporting teams across volleyball, netball, AFL, Rugby, Soccer, synchronised swimming and others.
