Indianna comes from a family of allied health practitioners and began exploring Yoga and Pilates over 15 years ago to help heal injuries sustained from full-time ballet training. This personal experience ignited a passion that led her to become a Physiotherapist and Pilates practitioner. She has been teaching remedial equipment-based and mat-style Pilates for the last 12 years. After graduating from LaTrobe University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Indianna has pursued her strong interest in musculoskeletal, sports and pelvic health to take a whole-body approach to pain and injury management. Indi worked in a prominent physiotherapy practice and an AFL football team in Melbourne for three years before moving to the Gold Coast where, along with her partner Radd Peters, she saw a need for a holistic health and wellness centre and began The Living Well Studio.

Indianna has a keen interest in treating women and men’s pelvic health and working with pre-natal and post-natal women to ensure optimal body health and return to activity during and after pregnancy. She has completed a post graduate certificate in Pelvic floor physiotherapy at Melbourne university and a number of masters subjects at Curtain University in women’s and pelvic health.

In 2019 Indianna completed a masters of clinical physiotherapy in sports physio at the University of Queensland qualifying her to be a titled sports physiotherapist with the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Stemming from her own love of dance, Indianna has a special interest in treating dancers and gymnasts of all ages and skill level. She has pursued further education in this area and conducts dance assessments for tertiary institutions, pre pointe assessments and biomechanics assessments for the developing dancer. Her passion for sport and high performance has also led her to be part of the high-performance team at The Gold Coast Suns Football Club where she runs mobility and mindfulness sessions with groups of players and also sees them individually for specific 1:1 conditioning.

Indianna is passionate about managing the individual from a biopsychosocial perspective. Appling evidence-based assessment and management techniques as well as creative problem solving to ensure the patients experience matches their expectations and goals. Indianna regularly engages in ongoing education on a tertiary level and is open minded to all methods of improving health and wellness for the community.
