Louise understands that within each session there is a delicate balance between holding a space, listening, developing insight and awareness and providing techniques and strategies. Louise will work with you to ensure that in each session you gain insight and awareness coupled with the skills you require to make change. Louise regularly reviews progress in session and adjusts therapeutic process to feedback to ensure therapeutic goals are met and desired changes are achieved.
An initial consultation with Louise is 80-90 minutes in order to obtain a comprehensive history and establish clear goals for ongoing therapy. Ongoing sessions are approximately 50-60 minutes. Prior to your first session, Louise will telephone you to briefly discuss your booking to ensure your needs are within her scope of practice. Louise provides consultations after hours and on Saturdays to reduce the impact on school and work schedules.
We provide regular patient information sessions on a variety of health related topics.
