NUTRITION TIP from The Living Well Studio’s resident Nutritionist Alyse Co-Cliff
FACT: I’m more likely to eat a range of colourful vegetables each day, if they’re sitting pretty in my fridge, chopped and prepared for easy access.
This means, on the weekend I’ll wash, chop, peel and store foods like pumpkin, sweet potato, broccoli and cabbage in my airtight glass containers for easy access during the week. I’ll also wash and chop some carrots sticks, red capsicum pieces and snow peas to pair with smashed avocado or hummus for healthy (& somewhat sweet) snacks on the go.
There’s not a week that goes by where I don’t appreciate my “weekend self” for getting organised.
So let’s get prepping!
