Our Podiatrist Matthew has extensive experience having worked in the public system and private practice in both the UK and Australia. His experience and expertise have enabled him to successfully treat patients of all ages from young children to the elderly. He receives referrals from GPs, Orthopaedic Surgeons and other allied health professionals such as Chiropractors, Physios and Osteopaths.
He is committed to continued professional development and is an active member of the Australian Podiatry Association.
He can provide diagnosis and treatment for a whole range of conditions affecting the foot and ankle. Services include all aspects of general Podiatry ranging from treatment of toenail disorders, including surgical and non-surgical treatment of ingrown toenails, plantar warts, corns and calluses.
Matthew has undergone further extensive training in manual therapy of the foot and ankle which uses mobilisation and manipulation techniques to improve joint mobility and foot function.
He has over 20 years experience in prescribing, making and fitting of orthotic innersoles that he has used to successfully treat thousands of patients including children, athletes and the elderly.
He has a particular interest in heel pain and is trained in the use of Radial Shockwave Therapy.
